Russ Festival Friend

Russ Festival Friend is a content creator and DJ immersed in the UK gig and festival scene. After attending his first Reading Festival in 2016, Russ turned his love of live music into a platform covering line-up predictions, festival speculation, breaking news, reviews and practical advice.

He is best known for Reading 101, a series that saw him share 101 tips in the lead-up to the festival, helping new festival-goers know what to expect before their first big weekend. His content combines genuine knowledge with humour, excitement and plenty of opinions, while his meet-ups have brought the community he built online together in person.

What started with attending festivals has now seen Russ become part of their line-ups, performing DJ sets at both Truck and Reading. From sharing advice with fellow festival-goers to joining the line-up himself, Russ has become a genuine part of the scene he covers.
