Sam Murray is a travel and adventure creator best known as SamBikepackingTheWorld. His journey began after making the life-changing decision to leave the UK and set off on a new path following his own struggles with mental health. Through his content, Sam shares the realities of long-distance travel with openness and honesty, capturing the people, places and unexpected moments that shape each adventure.

In 2024/25, Sam cycled solo from the UK to Australia, raising more than £30,000 for Samaritans along the way. The journey saw him build a deeply engaged community drawn to his resilience, vulnerability and willingness to show the difficult moments alongside the incredible ones.

Sam brings that same sense of adventure to his brand work, dreaming up unconventional concepts like a five-part series with Three that saw him cycle from the UK to Milan to try pizza for the first time. Now nominated for Travel Creator of the Year at the 2026 bCreator Awards, Sam continues to look for new ways to turn ambitious ideas into memorable adventures.
